“African Heartstrings” is Diane S. Sepler’s debut as a children’s book author. Written for ages 7-14, the book is intended to stimulate and encourage young people, their parents, and their extended family to inject reading, travel, thinking into their children’s lives. Sepler seeks to jumpstart their ability to be sensitive and experience feelings, expanding horizons and piquing their interest.

Diane was a major world traveler for decades, and made frequent trips to Africa to enjoy her passion for animals and their natural habitat. She is a contributor to many animal charities–most significantly, the World Wildlife Fund (recipient of a portion of book sales royalties). She is greatly interested in the environment, and the success of the caring for our planet and stopping the climate crisis!
